Notes

smoked deviled eggs
After you are done smoking the eggs it is time to get started on the filling. As I mentioned before everyone and his mother are convinced that they have the best recipe to fill the eggs and I am one of them that thinks that.
The filling needs to be creamy, tasty and needs a little kick. To achieve this you have to start with mayo for the creaminess and my homemade curry ketchup gives it the kick I like.
Add some of your favorite BBQ rub and you can adjust the flavor to your liking.
Scoop the yolks out of the eggs and mix this with all the other ingredient to make the filling.
  • 6 smoked eggs (have a look at my recipe above)
  • 2 Tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Curry Ketchup
  • 2 Teaspoons of your favorite BBQ rub
  • 1 Teaspoon paprika powder
Scoop the filling in your deviled eggs and sprinkle some paprika powder (smoked or Spanish) on them and you are done making smoked deviled eggs.
