Many people love grilled bratwurst but have problems grilling them. Here you can read my recipe and how to grill them without drying out or cracking.I use them for lunch and dinner. Leftovers taste great in scrambled eggs for breakfast.
Preheat the grill to medium heat (325 - 350 degrees Fahrenheit
Place bratwurst on the side away from the charcoal
Cook for about 15 minutes until 150 degrees Fahrenheit internally. Turn a few times and keep the lid closed as much as possible
Move the bratwurst to direct over the charcoal for one or two minutes to create some grill marks.
Take bratwurst off the grill and place it on a bun.
Add your favorite toppings. Mine is mustard and sauerkraut if I have the time for that.
